The Arsenal website is claiming a 6-0 victory over Szombathelyi in Austria tonight.

The actual result was 5-0 as Van Persie's second goal was disallowed. It was another good run out for the boys and it's good to see Eduardo back in action and back in the goals with a brace. For a full report view the above link.
There are escalating rumours that Kolo Toure will be joining Emmanuel Adebayor by plying his trade at Eastlands next season

Reports of a £14m fee seem good business for a player who cost 250k seven years ago. Toure has been a mainstay of our defence since the unbeaten campaign of 2003/04 and is currently our vice captain. Toure is an important player for us but he may have seen his best years. I love Kolo but his form has dropped dramatically in the last 18 months and it remains to be seen if he can again reach previous dizzy heights. His game was based on speed, mobility and recovery but he seems to have lost some of his acceleration and at times last year looked as though he was carrying a bit of excess weight around the middle. I think if the money were made available to the boss for a new centre back or defensive midfielder I’d be inclined to let him leave with our best wishes.
In encouraging news John Hartson appears to be growing stronger after his recent neurosurgery.

There is still a long battle ahead of him but this is hopefully the first step on the way to recovery for John. We're all thinking of you Big Fella.
More tomorrow....
