There's not a lot of Arsenal news doing the rounds today.

Apparently we've had a bid for Sevilla Argentine defender Federico Fazio turned down.

We had a bid in the region of £5.5m for the lanky centre back turned down by the Spanish club. Fazio is the type of centre back many fans have been pleading for, he's a tough no nonsense defender who is very good in the air. This is encouraging news as it is definitely a position we can strengthen but to tell you the truth I don't believe that we've even made a bid for him. I don't think Wenger is chasing any defensive re-enforcements and I don’t expect any defensive signings to be made before the end of the window. I really hope I’m wrong!!!!!

AC Milan are rumoured to be chasing our captain.

Milan may want Fab but there's no way he's going there.
I don't think the boss will entertain any offers for our talisman this summer and when he eventually leaves it will be to return to Spain not to go weak Italian league.
